Intel’s 2018 Extreme Rig Challenge pitted teams of North America’s top gaming system builders against one another in an effort to see which team could construct the most extreme gaming rig.
I helped concept the challenge’s webpage user experience and, as a project copywriter, worked with client leads to develop webpage copy, banner ads, and social media promo content.
The goal of this integrated marketing campaign was to raise awareness and to promote Intel’s top-of-the-line gaming processors and products. To help promote the challenge and the voting process, top YouTube tech influencers posted stage-by-stage videos about each team’s progress and motivated viewers to vote for their favorite.
Campaign End Results: From a metrics perspective, the 2018 Extreme Rig Challenge was the most successful compared to previous challenges.
